HIGHLIGHT

Important – CAC’s must re-apply through CMS!

The Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) is updating the application for Certified Application Counselor (CAC) and requiring all past CAC organizations to REAPPLY.

That means all CACs assisting with Marketplace enrollments should look out for an email from CMS detailing the re-application process and sign up to continue your vital work!

Applications are still being updated, so look out for notifications beginning this spring and throughout the summer. CMS will notify existing CAC Designated Organizations (CDOs) when the application is ready for them to reapply on a rolling basis beginning in April. These organizations will be invited to complete their new applications via email.

Questions regarding the CAC Program can be directed to CACQuestions@cms.hhs.gov.

Thanks for your continued work, Nebraska CACs!
