This webinar will provide information on marketplace appeals, detailing what decisions can be appealed, how to file an appeal, and ways to expedite the appeal process.
Special Enrollment Period for 2017 Aetna Policy Holders: January 1 – March 1.
That’s right, more people to enroll! Anyone with an Aetna policy is eligible for an SEP if they would like to gain coverage or change their auto-enrollment. Since Aetna did not continue in the Marketplace, more people have the chance to get covered.

Center on Health Insurance Blog from Georgetown: Affordable Care Act Navigators: Unexpected Success During 2018 Enrollment Season Shouldn’t Obscure Challenges Ahead
Despite the obstacles working against a successful open enrollment, sign-ups came close to last year’s tally: federally facilitated marketplaces (FFMs) logged 8.8 million plan selections, including close to 2.5 million new consumers, by the close of open enrollment on December 15th, nearing the 9.2 million plan selection from the previous year in just half the time.
