Some in Congress say their outline for replacing the Affordable Care Act is a pathway to greater flexibility and lower costs for consumers. Others see a road to ruin for millions of people who’d face lost coverage and higher medical expenses, particularly the poor.

NPR: Republican Health Care Proposal Would Cover Fewer Low-Income Families
House Republicans are debating a plan to replace the Affordable Care Act that would give consumers tax credits to buy insurance, increase out-of-pocket costs, and cut back on Medicaid.
